I went on a fabric shopping trip with my mum in London and spent a hefty chuck of change on some lovely fabric (as one does).

I decided that this wool suiting would make a lovely skirt and I should have enough of it to make a edwardian walking skirt made modern. Turns out I did (just).

This is a self drafted pattern, you need waist, hips and length as the only measurements. I started with a basic 2 dart skirt block which I then turned into an A-Line skirt by removing the darts. After than I then added 8 inches at the centre back to allow me 2 large box pleats towards the centre back closure.
